I've been digging into the Lewingdon brothers' case, and I find it deeply disturbing how far their violence spread. I feel for Christine Hardman's friends and family—it must be incredibly difficult to find any sense of closure after such a senseless act. I noticed that the murders of Robert and Dorothy McCann on the same day seem to suggest a frenzied spree. There's a chilling randomness to it, which is terrifying to think about. What strikes me most is how these acts of violence, carried out with a single firearm, weaved fear across Ohio. I wonder if there's anyone here who remembers how the community of Franklin reacted during those times. It's unnerving to think about what residents must have gone through, knowing such dangerous individuals were on the loose.
