Has anyone looked into what kind of weather conditions were reported on the night Russ and Alan went missing? South Florida waters can be unpredictable. I'm wondering if bad weather might have contributed to them running out of gas or getting lost. Maybe that's why no trace of them or the boat was found, even after extensive searches. I recall reading about similar cases where sudden storms have caught smaller boats off-guard. If the weather was rough, it could have been a factor in them disappearing without a trace. Would be interesting to cross-check that night’s weather reports if anyone has access to that info!
