Has anyone dug into any old news articles from the Denver area around the time Phifer and Hollis vanished? I'm curious if there were any reports about car sightings or accidents involving their green '72 Ford Pinto. Sometimes, small local papers might have covered incidents that weren’t picked up by larger outlets. It could be worth checking out libraries or archives for any bits of coverage that might have slipped through the cracks. Also, if they had plans to stop anywhere along the route to Grand Junction, locals might remember a couple traveling in a car like theirs. It feels like there must be more pieces to this puzzle that we haven't considered yet.

Hey everyone, I've been following the Phifer case closely and something's been bugging me. I can't find any more info about Kay Hollis. I mean, they were both heading to Grand Junction, right? Was she ever reported missing too, or did people just assume she was with Phifer and got caught in the same situation? It seems odd that there isn't more mention of her after all this time. Has anyone come across any leads or know if her name ever came up in other missing person reports? Just trying to connect the dots here. Thanks!
