I’ve been following Robert Bob Darling Jr.’s case for a while now, and one thing that stands out to me is the gap between his disappearance and the discovery of his body. It’s so haunting to think about what might have happened in those months. August to October in New York's Adirondacks is beautiful, but for Bob’s family, those are two months filled with questions and pain. I can't imagine how tough it must be for them not knowing where he was during that period. Given that his body was found by hunters, it makes me wonder whether the person responsible was familiar with the area? Perhaps they assumed the location was remote enough to avoid detection for some time. The fact that it took so long to find him is both sad and chilling. It's just heartbreaking that after all these years, Bob's family still doesn’t have answers. The thought of them waking up every day hoping for closure is tough. I hope advancements in forensics can bring some new leads soon. If anyone has a small piece of information, even if it seems insignificant, it might help the investigators. My thoughts are with his loved ones as they continue to wait for justice.
