Has anyone else looked into Officer Ernest Cecil Holbert’s legacy and how the community has chosen to remember him? It's incredibly moving to see how he’s still honored by both the Cleveland Police Department and the community even years after his passing. I read that there have been annual memorials and initiatives in his name, and it makes me think about the quiet ways in which people can be remembered for their service and sacrifice. Given the tragic circumstances surrounding his injuries and eventual passing, it's a testament to the impact one person can have. Anyone have more info on current memorials or events honoring him? I'd love to hear more about how his family has been supported through all of this.
