I was reading about the tragic case of Marichell Chatman and her family, and couldn't help but reflect on the trauma faced by young Quanita and Quentin Reeves. Surviving such a horrific event at such a young age must have left deep emotional and psychological scars. Systems need to be in place to provide enduring care for child survivors of violence, ensuring they receive the therapeutic help needed to process and heal from such trauma.
