I'm really struck by the lasting effect Albert Hamilton Jr.'s murder has had on so many people. I’ve been thinking a lot about the fact that the intersection where he died, East Avenue and Chandler Avenue, hasn't seen much change in the years since. It's bittersweet to hear that his family still gathers occasionally at that spot to commemorate him. It must be incredibly difficult for them to return there, yet it shows how deep their love and remembrance runs. Lori, his wife, has spoken in interviews about how that place has become a focal point in their pursuit of justice—a painful reminder, yet also a gathering spot for family solidarity and remembrance. It's truly remarkable, and at the same time so hard to fathom, that this case continues to remain unsolved. I really hope that the Akron community continues to support his family's quest for answers. If anyone has any information, even something seemingly insignificant, reporting it could bring us one step closer to finding the justice Albert deserves.
