The tragic deaths of Jack and Linda Myers have really stuck with me, especially the chilling image of their great-grandson finding them like that. It's difficult to wrap my head around how someone so young could experience such a traumatic event. I can't imagine the lasting impact this might have on him as he grows up. I've heard that children who experience trauma at such a young age can sometimes have difficulties later in life. I really hope he's been able to find love and support in other family members and professionals trained to help kids in situations like this. Hopefully, Dameon's story serves as a sobering reminder of how deeply crime can ripple through the lives of innocent children and why it's crucial for communities to support those affected. My thoughts are certainly with him and the rest of the Myers family. If anyone has insight on how Dameon is doing today, I'd be interested to know.
