I was revisiting the case of Gail Knisley and the "Highway Shooter" today and can't help but think about how terrifying it must have been for Mary Cox to be part of such a tragic day. It’s unfathomable to imagine driving with a close friend and having something so horrific happen out of nowhere. It’s a miracle that Mary wasn't physically harmed, but the emotional scars from witnessing such a tragedy must be immense. I hope that over the years, she’s found some peace and strength to navigate through the trauma. It’s comforting to know that the law enforcement agencies worked together so diligently to bring that nightmare to an end. Sending thoughts to all who were impacted, and hoping that the community has found healing since those dark times.
