I was just reading about Titus Jamaal Arnold, and it really got me thinking about the impact he had on everyone around him. To be so young yet so involved—not just with his church at Greater Grace Temple but also his role at Vision for Youth and as a coach in the community—it's astounding. His commitment to mentoring youth shows someone who genuinely cared about making a difference. I see now why so many people have been deeply affected by his passing. It's especially touching that he managed to balance all of this while studying at Urbana University and playing football. He seemed to have unlimited energy and passion for helping others. Those kids he coached must have truly looked up to him. I can't imagine the void left in those young lives, not to mention his own family. His mother’s strength and advocacy in the aftermath speak volumes about the man Titus must have been. The entire story is such a sobering reminder of how one person can touch so many lives in positive ways, even when faced with unspeakable tragedy. My heart goes out to everyone who knew him, and I'd love to hear how some of you have been coping or honoring his memory.
