I’ve been following the Venkat Reddy-Goli case for a while, and something that really stood out to me was the incredible dedication of the investigators from multiple agencies over the years. It must have been daunting to piece together what happened, especially with so much time passing before they had enough evidence to indict Toran. I can’t imagine how challenging it must have been for Venkat’s family to wait for justice, not knowing if or when it would come. It’s a small comfort knowing that the diligent work eventually led to a conviction, even if the sentence felt too lenient for such a heinous act. It’s important to recognize the hard work and persistence of those involved in bringing some measure of justice in such difficult cases. My heart truly goes out to Venkat's loved ones.
