Has anyone else been following the Donald Connell case from Rhode Island? One aspect that's always puzzled me is why there were hardly any leads or evidence. I mean, Newport isn't exactly a gigantic city where someone could easily disappear without a trace. You'd think being a Marine Corps veteran, he might have been cautious and aware of his surroundings. It strikes me as odd that he vanished so suddenly on what's essentially a short walk between family homes. I've read about other cases where some detail finally surfaces years later, so I'm holding onto hope that someone might eventually come forward with new information. What do you all think? It's like he just vanished into thin air, and the lack of evidence only adds to the mystery.
