It's truly gut-wrenching to think about William Moritz and the circumstances surrounding his death. I can't stop thinking about his family and friends and what they must be going through. It’s hard enough to lose someone, but under such tragic and violent circumstances... I just can't imagine the pain and confusion they must be feeling. What's been on my mind a lot is the role of the community in situations like this. I wonder how Avondale has been coping with both the loss of William and the impact of having such young people involved in the crime. This must shake the community to its core. There’s always been talk about how we need to come together to create safe environments for everyone and tackle the issues related to drug violence. In light of this case, it's more evident than ever that we've got to find ways to support our youth and guide them away from such destructive paths. Sending all my thoughts to everyone affected by these events. I hope there can be some form of healing and learning from this tragic incident.
