Does anyone else find it strange that Clarence Eugene was last documented in the Sacramento County Jail and then just vanished? I was reading about this and can't stop thinking about how people just disappear after being in such a public place. You'd think that there'd be more records or someone would have seen him after his release. I mean, Sacramento is a busy area, and this was only in the late 80s, not that long ago in the grand scheme of things. Does anyone know if there were any follow-ups with the jail officials or if they did any checks after he was reported missing? It's truly baffling how limited the information is on such cases, especially considering the resources available today. Any insights or similar cases would be interesting to discuss.
