It's such a sad story all around. I've been thinking a lot about Ariana Ruddock's role in this case. It's just chilling to think about how a young woman could be involved in something so heinous. Encouraging someone to go back and "finish the job"? It's terrifying. I can't begin to understand what was going through her mind, but it makes you wonder about the kind of influence Greene might have had over her. While she's serving her time, it's hard not to think about the lost potential for David, for Greene, and even for Ruddock. All of them should have had decades ahead to make better choices. My heart goes out to David’s family; they lost someone irreplaceable. The whole community must be feeling this loss immensely. Remembering David for who he was and the love he shared seems like such an important way to honor his memory.
