Has anyone else been following the fallout from the Tamir Rice case? I've been thinking a lot about how Clemency responded and whether there could or should have been a different outcome. Just learned that despite the settlement, there was no admission of wrongdoing from the city. I can't even begin to imagine what Tamir's family must feel knowing that. These types of cases always make me wonder how policies could be changed to prevent such tragedies in the future. Does anyone know what specific police reforms have been proposed or implemented in Cleveland since this incident? It feels like there are so many moving parts in these cases, and I often think we as a society need to do more to focus on actionable solutions rather than just discussions.
