I keep thinking about the community gathering that happened following the tragedy on East 92nd Street. It's truly devastating to see the depths of pain it caused for everyone involved. I’ve read that many local residents came together to honor Jario and the other victims with a vigil, and from what I understand, the outpouring of support was immense. People shared their memories of Jario, describing him as a bright young individual with so much potential. It's just so hard to process the idea that someone who was considered a close friend could commit such a horrific act. It makes me wonder how well we really know the people we trust. The community’s response, though, shows how united everyone can be in times of unimaginable crisis. For those of you who’ve attended these vigils or talked with the family, has there been any talk about how they plan to keep Jario’s memory alive? I think creating something positive in his honor would be a powerful way to show the lasting impact he had on those around him.
