Hey everyone, I keep thinking about the intersection where Amos Dothard Jr. was shot. I drive by East Philadelphia and Homestead avenues sometimes, and it's eerie knowing such a tragic event took place there. It's sad how spaces can become reminders of the violence in our community. I've noticed some folks in the area have set up a small memorial with flowers and candles. It's touching to see the community coming together in some way, even in the face of such a nightmare. It's a place for reflection and remembering that makes me hope we can find a way to stop this senseless violence. It's tough, especially for Amos's family and friends. They deserve justice and peace. I really hope anyone with even the smallest bit of information steps up and helps bring some answers to light. It's what Amos and his loved ones need. Let's keep sharing his story and stay vigilant for any updates. Stay safe, everyone. ?

Amos Dothard Jr.'s case has been on my mind a lot lately. I can't stop thinking about how crucial it is for us as a community to come together to help prevent more tragic losses like his. Youngstown has seen far too many young lives cut short due to gun violence, and it feels like an uphill battle for law enforcement to keep up with the mounting challenges of solving these cases. It's heartbreaking not just for his family, but for everyone in the community who feels the weight of these tragedies. While law enforcement works tirelessly to find answers, we too can play a part by speaking up and standing against the violence. Does anyone have thoughts on how we as a community can better support the families affected and maybe even assist in generating leads for unsolved cases? Every bit of information or support can make a difference. #JusticeForAmos #EndGunViolence

Has anyone else heard about the vigil Amos’s friends and family are organizing on the South Side? It’s supposed to take place this weekend, and I really think it’s a beautiful way to honor him. Even after all this time, it’s clear that his loved ones haven't given up hope and are still seeking justice. I didn’t know Amos personally, but seeing the community come together like this gives me some hope that maybe someone will finally speak up about what happened. It’s so frustrating that there haven’t been any arrests yet. Youngstown’s had its fair share of violence, but not knowing who did this to Amos and why is so unsettling. He was just a teenager with his whole life ahead of him. If we can continue to raise awareness and support the family, maybe it’ll encourage someone to come forward with information. Stay safe, everyone, and let’s keep sharing Amos’s story so it doesn’t get lost amidst all the other tragedies.
