Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Ezequiel Rivera and there's just something that's been on my mind. What happened was incredibly tragic, and my heart goes out to his family and friends who are undoubtedly still grappling with this loss. But I keep thinking about Steve Gonzalez. I can't imagine what it must have been like for him that night, trying to calm things down only to end up injured himself. It's hard to fathom the complexity and chaos of those split seconds when everything unfolded. Being caught in the crossfire must have been a terrifying experience. I hope his recovery was swift, but I also wonder how this has impacted him emotionally and mentally. Accidental or not, being shot must leave its own kind of scars. Has anyone come across any follow-up about Steve or how he's doing these days? I just feel like his story is an important part of the bigger picture too.
