Has anyone considered the possibility that Robert Beich might have intended to start a new life somewhere? I know the postmark on the suicide note suggests he went to New Mexico, but maybe that was a diversion he set up on purpose? Depression can make people act in unpredictable ways. It's just puzzling that there hasn't been a single clue or sighting in all these years. Maybe he had some personal connection or memories in Albuquerque or nearby that drew him there? Or perhaps he was just passing through and sent the letter as a final goodbye, but then changed his mind about his next steps. It's strange that he hasn't resurfaced in any way. Could he have assumed a completely new identity? Just throwing ideas out there. Anyone else thought along these lines?
Hey everyone, I'm really curious about the connections Robert Ralph Beich might have had in Albuquerque. It's so unusual that he mailed the suicide note from there despite living all the way in Dunedin, Florida. Was it a city he had ties to, maybe family or friends who lived there? Or was it just a random stop along the way? I feel like understanding why he chose Albuquerque specifically could provide some clues on what might have happened next. If anyone has insights or theories about what could have drawn him to New Mexico, I'd love to hear them. Every small detail might help piece together this puzzle. Thanks!
