Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about the impact Peggy Kostelnik had in her community and how deeply connected she was to the cause of Greyhound Adoption of Ohio. It’s incredible how much love and dedication she poured into helping these animals find homes. In times like these, I just keep coming back to how someone who brought so much good into the world can be taken so violently and so suddenly. It’s a stark reminder of how precious life is and how vulnerable we can be, even in our own homes and neighborhoods. The close-knit community of Chardon and Willoughby clearly misses her presence. It speaks volumes that even amidst the turmoil, her legacy persists through her many contributions, especially her work with animals. In these discussions, it’s important to also remember the broader dialogue her tragic death opened about safety and the vigilance needed in our neighborhoods. It aches to think her life was cut short when she still had so much left to give, not only to her family and friends but also to the causes she so passionately supported. Let’s keep her memory alive by continuing to support the community and causes she loved. Would love to hear more memories of her, if anyone is willing to share. Stay safe, everyone.
