Does anyone else find it odd that Daniel Campbell's dog was never found, either? I mean, dogs are known to be pretty resilient and resourceful, especially in the wilderness. If something happened to Daniel, I would think the dog might have turned up somewhere, even if it was hungry and a bit roughed up. It's almost like they both vanished into thin air together. I've been trying to dig more into whether search teams found any traces of the dog at all—tracks, fur, anything. It just seems strange to me that there's nothing. Could the dog have led Daniel somewhere, or was the dog also somehow incapacitated? Anyone with more outdoors experience have any thoughts on how plausible it is for a dog to disappear without a trace in Yellowstone?
