Hey everyone, I've been following the Janice Hughes case for a while now, and there's something that's been bugging me. I read that the gun she took that night was found somewhere else, but does anyone know exactly where it was recovered? I feel like that piece of information might give us clues about what she was planning or where she might have gone. If it was found close to her house or in a completely different area of Macon, it could change how we understand her movements before she went missing. Anybody have more details or thoughts on this?

Has anyone else been looking into the calls Janice Hughes made that night? I find it interesting that she reached out to her mom at 1:00 a.m. to say she was coming over. I wonder if she felt safe heading there or if there was something urgent she needed to discuss. The timing just seems odd, given that it was so late at night. I’ve always thought it might indicate that something was off, especially because her mom was the last person she contacted. It's frustrating that there's so much left unanswered, and the fact that her family didn't report her missing for two weeks makes me think they might have initially believed she went somewhere on her own. But why would she leave without telling anyone if she was planning to do something like that? Just some thoughts. What do you all think about this?
