Was anyone else really struck by the resilience of Candace Prunty's family throughout this ordeal? It's so tough to think about what they've been through, especially her young sons growing up without their mom. The fact that it took six years to officially bring charges against Thomas Albert shows just how complex and painstaking these investigations can be.
It's daunting to think about how many cases might be out there where justice hasn't yet been served. But seeing the family hold onto hope and the determination of people like Patricia Beard just drives home the importance of never giving up. I'm grateful for programs like "Cold Justice" that can bring fresh eyes and technology to these cases.
Sending strength to those boys and everyone who loved Candace. Let's hope for a swift trial and justice finally being served.
Hello everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about Candance Prunty’s case and one detail that keeps coming back to me is the missing phone. It's unsettling to think about what could have been on there. Was Thomas Albert aware of something on her phone that threatened him, or did he take it to buy time before anyone noticed? Technology can be both a tool for justice and a way for perpetrators to try to hide their tracks.
Imagining Candance’s family, especially her mom, having to navigate this investigation for so many years without answers is tough. I can’t even begin to fathom the added pain of knowing there might be crucial information just out of reach. Let's hope the coming trial not only brings the necessary justice but also some answers that have been missing for too long, especially for her kids, who deserve to know the effort taken to honor their mom’s memory.
Keeping Candance and her loved ones in our thoughts.
