I've been following the Kalvin Turner case closely, and it really hits home for me. I grew up in Detroit around the same time, and the news of his murder on Schoenherr struck a chord with many of us who lived through that era. It's incredibly frustrating and sad to know that his family, like so many others, has been left without answers for so long. The area where it happened was known for drug activity, which makes me think there might be people with information who are afraid to speak up. It's horrible to see fear and intimidation keep people in silence while families like Kalvin's wait desperately for any leads. I truly hope with the Cold Case Unit and advances in forensic technology, someone might be brave enough to come forward and help bring justice in cases like Kalvin's. My thoughts are with his loved ones as they continue to fight for closure.
