Does anyone else find it strange that Harold left his motorcycle behind? I mean, from what I gather, he was pretty into that bike, and it seems unlikely he’d just abandon it unless he had plans to come back soon. It's just one of those details that’s been nagging at me. If Harold did plan to run off with those folks, why not take his motorcycle? Could it mean he trusted that he would be back quickly, or was something else in play altogether? I wonder if anyone else has considered this angle. Sometimes these smaller details are more telling than we realize. Anyone have thoughts on this?
Hey all, just came across Harold Shope’s case and something stuck out to me – his motorcycle. Being a biker myself, I just can't get past the fact that someone who loves riding would leave their motorcycle behind without a second thought. Especially in a rural area where roads are quiet and rides are enjoyable. If anyone's from Nevada, OH, or knows local riders from the '90s, maybe they remember seeing Harold around or anything unusual happening in the bike community back then? Could shed some light on where he might have gone or who the people were that he left with. ? If you've got any thoughts, happy to discuss! Let’s brainstorm and see if we can help bring any new leads to the table.
Hey everyone, I've been digging into Harold Shope's case a bit, and something that just seems off to me is the fact that he left his motorcycle behind. I mean, from what I gather, those who know Harold described him as someone who loved his bike—it was like a major part of his lifestyle. Why would he leave it if he was planning to go anywhere willingly? The man reportedly seen getting into a car with him and the two women raises so many questions. Does anyone know if there's more info on those people or the car they were in? It's odd that his mom was convinced he'd never voluntarily leave with strangers, which makes me wonder if there's more to it. If that motorcycle could talk, right? Would love to hear what you all think about this aspect or if anyone has more info that might tie into what happened that day.
