Hey everyone, I was reading about Warren Chamberlin's disappearance and something stuck out to me that I haven’t seen discussed much. Back in 1992, Big Bear Lake wasn’t as developed as it is now, so I wonder if there were certain trails or secluded spots he might have visited that aren’t as well-traveled today. I know it’s been over 30 years, but does anyone familiar with the area recall any popular (or even hidden) spots back then that could have been overlooked by searchers at the time? I’m curious if there might be places that were known to locals but perhaps didn’t make it into official search parameters. It might be a long shot after so many years, but fresh eyes and local knowledge could possibly bring new insights. Any thoughts or local memories would be really appreciated!

Have any locals or vacationers who were in Big Bear Lake around May 1992 noticed Warren's case getting more attention lately? It's always been a bit unsettling how there seems to be so little chatter about it compared to other cases from that era. I mean, Big Bear is a pretty popular spot, tons of people coming and going, and yet it's like this case just hit a wall. Someone out there must remember something, even if it's just a small detail. I read an interesting comment on another forum about businesses or locals possibly having old security tapes from back then. Does anyone know if anything like that was ever looked into? Sometimes those old leads get new light when they're revisited with fresh eyes.
