I can’t stop thinking about how She-ar’s family must be dealing with this immense loss. It's unfathomable to think of an 18-year-old's life being cut so short. The fact that this happened in broad daylight is chilling. I wonder how the community can come together to support not only his grieving family but also prevent future tragedies. Our neighborhoods need to be safe spaces where our children can grow up without fear of violence. Does anyone know if any community initiatives have sprung up in response to this tragedy? Or ways in which we can get involved to honor She-ar’s memory and help others?
