I’ve been thinking about how the community has been handling Ramone's passing, especially in the Northside neighborhood. It's just so difficult to process how something like this can happen so close to home. From what I gather, Ramone was well-liked and even spent time volunteering at the local community center. His loss is definitely a profound one for everyone who knew and loved him.
As someone who lives nearby, I've noticed a lot of neighbors coming together to support one another, but it leaves me wondering how we can prevent such tragedies in the future. Does anyone have insight into community programs or initiatives that have successfully addressed violence or offered support to affected families? It's a sad reality that we have to think about, but maybe there's a way we can all work together to make our neighborhoods safer in memory of Ramone.
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about Ramone Royles' case, and while I'm relieved that they caught Damon Lackey so quickly, what really sticks with me is the timing of it all. Lackey had only just gotten out of prison a few months before Ramone's murder. I can’t help but wonder if there was something more that went unnoticed or if there was anything that could have been done post-release to have prevented this tragedy. It’s just so sad to think about the potential for change that might have been missed. My heart goes out to Ramone’s loved ones as they navigate through this incredibly difficult time. If anyone has more insight into the case or about what was happening between April and August, I'd be really interested to hear it. Thanks.
