It's hard to wrap my head around the sheer terror that the little ones must have felt that night. Those three children were right there when the unimaginable happened. How do you even begin to process that as a child or explain it to them later? It's important that their needs are being met right now, both emotionally and practically. I really hope they’re surrounded by family members or professionals who can offer them the love and support they desperately need. Also, kudos to the brave woman who managed to escape and get help. Her actions undoubtedly prevented an already horrific situation from turning even worse. It’s just so tragic that two people lost their lives in such a senseless way. I can’t even imagine what Joshua and Eryc’s families are going through. My thoughts are with them all.
