I’ve been thinking about the police resources—it's disturbing to know that the Reynoldsburg Police Department didn’t have a 24-hour manned office at the time, despite the apartment complex being so close. While I'm aware this isn't uncommon in some areas, it seems like a missed opportunity for rapid response. It makes me wonder if it affected the ability to collect crucial witness statements or evidence in those initial hours. This case really highlights how important it is for communities to support local law enforcement and push for resources that could help prevent future tragedies. Also, it’s a reminder how public vigilance and community action can be essential in creating safer neighborhoods. Sending nothing but love and support to Derema, their child, and Santonio’s entire family during this time. They deserve justice and peace. Stay safe out there, everyone.
