Hey everyone, I've been digging into the mysterious disappearance of Eugeniusz Pastula and Robert Remmer during their 1994 fishing trip. Something that's been nagging at me is the state in which *Miss Black Diamond* was found. The boat was discovered with the cabin and pilothouse missing, which seems wildly unusual. Boats are typically sturdy enough to weather storms, especially when fully stocked for long trips like theirs. Could it be possible that the damage wasn't just due to a massive wave but possibly an encounter with another vessel or even foul play? I know the Coast Guard wrote it off as an accident, but has anyone come across info that could point to another theory? It's just hard to fathom how such a large part of the boat disappeared. Would love to hear your thoughts!
