I’ve been following the Curtis Reynolds case closely and it breaks my heart thinking about his family having to endure such a tragic loss. It's really disturbing to see how rising violence was turning so many lives upside down in Detroit back then. What really stands out to me is how Curtis was killed right outside his mother’s home. Imagining a mother having to witness such a senseless act right at her doorstep is just horrifying. Additionally, his position as a security guard at Town Pump Tavern shows that he was someone responsible, trying to keep others safe. It's sad that someone who dedicated himself to protecting others wasn't safe himself. Does anyone have more details on how the community has been supporting his family or if there have been any updates from law enforcement on the case? It’s these acts of violence that truly make you appreciate the importance of community solidarity in the face of adversity. My thoughts go out to everyone affected by his passing.

Does anyone have more info on the surveillance footage from that night? I keep thinking about Curtis Reynolds' role as a security guard at Town Pump Tavern. It makes me wonder whether there's any helpful footage from the area or even from nearby businesses that could shed some light on the incident. With Detroit's crime rates at that time, you’d think securing the perimeter with cameras would be a priority. Given how unsettling this is for the community and his family, are there any updates on whether they’ve been able to access or analyze any potential footage? I really hope something gives them a lead to work with. Curtis and his loved ones deserve justice, and it’s just so frustrating to see cases like this get stuck. Let's hope someone steps up with new information soon.
