I've been following the case of John Johnson's murder and it's deeply upsetting to see how such a life was tragically taken away so early. The fact that this occurred during a notable spike in violence in Detroit makes me wonder about the systemic issues that weren't being addressed back then. It's a shame how the waves of crime in 2012 seemed to overshadow individual stories like John's. I was reading about how the authorities had called for more community cooperation to solve the case, yet it seems like efforts went unnoticed. Does anyone remember if there were specific neighborhood outreach initiatives or community meetings organized back then? It just feels like John's story hasn’t been talked about enough, and I really hope that people come forward if they know anything. His family deserves closure, and it breaks my heart to think of them still waiting for answers.
