Hey everyone, I'm so saddened by what happened to Amber Piguet. As a mom myself, I can't wrap my head around the idea of those kids being in the house when this horrible event took place. It’s really not something they should ever have to witness. I recently read about how one of the children, in sheer bravery, made the 911 call. Such an overwhelming situation for such young ones, and it's just absolutely heart-wrenching to think of what those kids had to go through. Has anyone else been following the details about how the community has been supporting Amber’s family, especially those kids, since the incident? I heard there have been a few fundraisers and community gatherings in her honor. It really shows how tight-knit the community is and how much Amber meant to everyone around her. Knowing that some people have set up support systems for the kids makes me hopeful that they’ll have the love and security they need moving forward. Would love to hear thoughts from others who might be from the area or have been involved in these community efforts. We often talk about the legal proceedings and whatnot, but it’s equally important to focus on the healing process for those impacted. My heart truly goes out to those children and everyone who loved Amber.
