I'm always struck by how fragile life can be, and David Gargrave's story is a prime example of just that. The fact that an ordinary day planned for a bit of target shooting turned so quickly to tragedy is something that must weigh heavily on his family and friends. I can't imagine how his brother must be feeling, knowing they were supposed to spend that day together. Accidental shootings, especially involving someone who had experience like David, challenge all of us to think seriously about safety. It's a stark reminder that accidents can happen to anyone, regardless of how careful we might be. It’s touching to see that a memorial service was held at True Life Community Church; hopefully, it brought some solace to his family and allowed them to celebrate David’s life amidst the grief. Sending love to Caleb and Alexander, who must be missing their dad terribly, and to everyone who loved David. Please hold those around you extra tight, as nothing is guaranteed.
