I’ve been thinking a lot about the response of the community to the tragic loss of Peter William Underwood. It’s so moving to see how everyone came together to honor his memory. The tributes at Woodland Cemetery and the outpouring of support from friends and family really show how loved he was. It’s comforting to know that even amid such heartache, people can come together to celebrate the life and kindness of someone like Peter. His time in the Army National Guard and his work as a dispatcher must have touched so many lives. I just hope that his loved ones continue to find strength in all the good memories they shared with him. Anyone else find solace in these community gatherings after such tragedies?

Has anyone else been thinking about the details of how Jessica Grieco got hold of the gun in the first place? It's been puzzling me since the trial. I remember hearing that Peter Underwood was in the Army National Guard, so he would have known how to handle weapons safely. I wonder if the gun belonged to him or if it came into their home through different means. Regardless, it’s just so tragic to see how quickly things escalated and ended with someone's life lost. Peter seemed to be such a genuinely kind person who meant a lot to his family and friends. I can't imagine how hard it must be for them to cope with his loss and the circumstances around it. It's truly devastating. Would love to hear your thoughts!
