I’ve been following the case of Tywan Cortez Johnson, and what stands out to me is the community response. It’s really moving to see how the Cleveland community has come together in the wake of Tywan’s death. Not only has there been a vigil held in his memory, but local activists are also organizing to push for more safety measures in the East 79th and Woodland area to prevent similar tragedies. It’s encouraging to see this unified effort to honor his memory and protect others, but it also highlights the immense grief people are feeling right now. It’s hard not to think about what Tywan’s family is going through, and I hope they’re finding some comfort in knowing that their community stands with them. Has anyone heard any updates on those safety measures or related community meetings since the initial response?

Has anyone else been following the Tywan Cortez Johnson case and noticed how there hasn't been as much media focus on his death compared to others? It just feels like this young man's life is being overlooked. He deserved so much more, and his family must be going through such a difficult time with the lack of information. I can't even begin to imagine their pain and frustration. Why aren’t more people talking about this? It seems like there’s a real opportunity for community action here to push for justice and perhaps even bring some awareness to larger issues at play. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
