I’ve been thinking a lot about the Justin Kendrix case lately, especially the impact it must have on the local community in Columbus, OH. It’s been over six years, and yet the pain of not having answers must linger for his family and close friends. I can't help but wonder about the details surrounding the incident at Autumn Springs Apartments.
It's sad that Shaunika Eakins also got caught up in this violence and was injured. I sincerely hope she finds solace and strength to heal both physically and emotionally. I’ve read about so many cases that make progress thanks to community members coming forward with even the smallest piece of information. It's cases like this that remind us how crucial it is to share what we know, no matter how insignificant it might seem.

It feels so important to keep talking about Justin's story so that he’s not forgotten, and his family can maybe one day find the justice they deserve.
