Hey everyone, I was just thinking about the timeline in Rory Shoemaker's case. It's strange to me that he was planning to move to Montana with his mom right after the camping trip. It makes it hard to believe he would just up and vanish without a trace. I mean, why pack all your stuff if you're not planning on coming back? It seems like someone who was excited for a fresh start, not someone who was running away or planning something sinister. Also, I've read that people have speculated over the years about foul play and burial sites, but it seems odd that after so many searches, including digging, nothing has come up. Could it be that we've been focusing on the wrong areas? Or maybe someone with inside knowledge needs to speak up after all these years. I'm really curious about what you all think!

So I was digging around older cold cases and stumbled upon Rory Shoemaker's story again. Has anyone else been curious about that Datsun 210? It's strange how a whole car could just vanish without a trace, especially back in '95 when it wasn't as easy to keep things off the radar. With all the searches done over the years, you'd think something would turn up — even just a part of the vehicle. I've read theories about the car being buried alongside him, but couldn't it also have been dismantled or sold off piece by piece somewhere remote? Does anyone know if parts of old cars like that were ever traced in those areas, or maybe over in Montana where he was supposed to move? Seems like it could be a lead worth considering.
