I can't believe it's been six years since DeAsia Wallace lost her life in such a senseless way. I've been thinking a lot about the impact this case had on the community. It's just so incredibly tragic how quickly a situation can escalate into something deadly. I remember reading that some community leaders in Toledo called for improved programs for youth, aiming to guide them away from violence. It's crucial that these programs receive the support and resources they need to truly make a difference. No family should have to endure the pain of losing someone they love to such violence. Let's hope DeAsia's story continues to inspire positive change and keeps the conversation going about preventing youth violence. My thoughts are with her family and friends who still seek justice.
