I can't stop thinking about Jeanne's incredible dedication to her community. Volunteering at the St. Mary Church soup kitchen for years speaks volumes about her character and kindness. It's really hard to wrap my head around the tragic circumstances of her death, especially when you consider the good she brought into the world. I imagine her family and friends are missing not only her presence but the positive impact she had on others' lives. Does anyone know if the soup kitchen is planning anything in her honor? Keeping her family, especially her sons and grandchildren, in my thoughts. They’re enduring an unimaginable loss, and it’s so important for the community to come together in times like this.

I've been thinking a lot about the couple’s neighborhood in this terrible situation. If you’ve ever been to Chestnut Ridge Road, you know it’s a pretty close-knit community. Jeanne and Lawrence seemed like they were part of the fabric there for so many years. What struck me is how sudden and shocking it must have been for their neighbors to process all of this. It's unimaginable to think of waking up one day and learning something so tragic happened just next door. Considering Jeanne's years of volunteering at church and involvement with the community, I can imagine how bewildering and painful this is for everyone who knew her through those connections. I hope the neighborhood can rally around each other and the family, especially Robert and James, during such a challenging time. I wonder if anyone from the neighborhood or Jeanne's church community could share how they're coping or if there are plans for any memorials to celebrate their lives and contributions? It could be a meaningful way for the community to find some solace together.
