I can't stop thinking about the impact Andrew's passion for photography must have had on his community and family. It's clear that he was not just an employee at the Hampton Inn; he was also a creative soul with a talent for capturing moments. Even though I never met him personally, everything I've read makes me feel like he was truly gifted. His wife and daughter must have so many beautiful memories captured through his lens.
What saddens me deeply is knowing those photographic memories now serve as precious reminders of Andrew's life. These tangible pieces of his creative work may provide some solace to his loved ones during such a difficult time. It's a touching tribute to see how people have been making memorial donations to support victims of violent crime in his name. It shows how strongly his legacy continues to resonate. Does anyone know if his photography work is being shared or exhibited anywhere? I think it would be a wonderful way to honor his passion and talent.
Hi everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about the role Andrew’s photography played in his life and how it's been overshadowed by the tragic way he was taken from his loved ones. Andrew had this incredible gift of capturing moments – whether it was a wedding, a family gathering, or even nature shots around Fairborn. It's evident that photography was not just a side gig to him; it was an expression of who he was.
Given the stress and demands of his job at Hampton Inn, it must have been so refreshing for him to have this creative outlet. His work was probably a source of joy, not just for himself but also for Brittany and young Eleanor, who will now only have those photos and memories to hold onto.
What breaks my heart is knowing Andrew spent his last day in a place he didn’t have the love for like he did with his art. I hope that as the community rallies to support his family, they also celebrate his life by sharing and cherishing his photography. Perhaps a public exhibit or online gallery could be a beautiful way to honor his legacy and passion.
Thinking of Brittany, Eleanor, and all those affected, and sending love and strength during this unimaginable time.
