Hey everyone, I've been following Craig Moilanen's case closely and something that's been bothering me is the lack of media coverage over the years. With so little information available, every bit of public exposure counts to keep the conversation alive. It seems Craig's disappearance quickly fell out of the spotlight, which is unfortunately common with cases lacking immediate leads. Have any of you noticed similar trends in other cases, where despite a person being listed on databases like NamUs, the media just doesn't pick up the story like you'd expect? Refreshing his missing posters online and discussing his case here might be our best shot at raising awareness until there's a break in the case. Thoughts?
I've been looking into Craig Selvin Moilanen's case recently and one thing that strikes me is the complete lack of witnesses or sightings on the day he disappeared. It's a bit baffling that in a relatively populated area like Olympia, there doesn't seem to be anyone who saw anything unusual or noticed Craig on January 6, 1999. I'm curious if any locals from that time remember anything or if there were any events in the area that might've distracted people. It's been so long, but sometimes even the smallest detail can mean so much in these cold cases. Have any of you come across similar situations in missing persons cases where the area was busy but no one saw anything?
