Hey all. I've been following William Wright North's case for a while and something that's always puzzled me is the location of his backpack. It was found in the parking lot of Goat Rock Beach, but there were no sightings of him actually reaching the beach itself. Does anyone else find that odd? It makes me wonder if he ever made it to the beach or if something happened to him on the way. Considering that he was last seen hitchhiking, it's possible that whoever gave him a ride knows more than they've shared. It's frustrating how this piece of evidence just deepens the mystery rather than offering answers. What are your thoughts on why his backpack would be abandoned there but no trace of him?

Has anyone looked into the possibility that William might have met someone on his hitchhiking route who offered him a ride and, for whatever reason, their path diverted away from Goat Rock Beach? There are so many twists and turns out there, especially if you're heading towards any of the smaller, less-traveled roads. It's a stretch, but maybe there was a connection or an unexpected encounter that led to his disappearance. Also, with Earth Day events happening around that time, could he possibly have run into someone at a gathering who might remember more details about that day? Anyone local who participated might hold a piece of this puzzle without even knowing it. Thoughts?
