I've been following Ebony Carter's case closely since I first heard about it. It's just incredibly sad that over five years have gone by without any solid leads or arrests. I can't even begin to imagine the pain her grandmother, Jacqueline Carter, must feel. Raising Ebony and then losing her in such a tragic way is just unimaginable. It's frustrating that there's a lack of momentum in the investigation. Given how connected Ebony was with her community, it seems like someone out there must know something. The Hawley Street area isn't vast, and it's hard to believe that no one saw or heard something that could help. If I remember correctly, there were calls for more community involvement early on, so maybe reaching out again or holding an awareness event could spark new interest? We owe it to Ebony and her family to keep pushing for answers. She was clearly loved and deserves justice. Let's hope that people continue sharing any information they might have so that those responsible can be found and held accountable.
