Has anyone else been following the case of Jamel Sechrest? I can't stop thinking about the dangers some people put kids in by running unlicensed daycare centers. It's chilling to know that on the night Jamel was shot, there were four children nearby. While I'm thankful they weren't physically harmed, it makes me question if those kids and countless others are being put at risk every day. Do these places not only bring potential harm to the kids themselves but also to people like Jamel, who are unfortunate enough to be nearby? It's terrifying to think about the irony of what's supposed to be a safe space for children being so unsafe. I really hope that one day soon, someone will step forward with the information needed to bring whoever did this to justice, not just for Jamel's family but for the community's peace of mind.
