Has anyone looked into whether Robert Powers might have had any ties or connections to people in Mexico before he went missing? I find it interesting when he mentioned wanting to move there, but I'm curious if he had anyone specific he might have planned to meet up with or stay with. Sometimes folks build relationships online or through pen-pal situations and end up following those connections. It's worth checking out if anyone close to him knew about any online activities or correspondence he might have had. Also, a lot of people talk about moving to Mexico for the lower cost of living—is it possible he just followed through without telling anyone?
