Did anyone else feel a deep sense of injustice when the details of Hughes' appeal emerged? I've been following the case closely, and while the courts have upheld the conviction and sentence, it's really unsettling to think about what Goff's family must be going through. The legal battles must be reopening wounds for them. To have lost a loved one so senselessly and then be reminded of it every time there’s a new development in the case...it’s just unimaginable. I hope Goff's family finds the strength they need as the process unfolds. What are everyone else’s thoughts on how these appeals can impact the grieving process?
