Has anyone else been following the impact this has had on the construction industry community in Cincinnati? Richard F. Newcomer seemed like such a vital part of that world. I've read he was heavily involved in building many of the structures around the city. It’s just so senseless that his life was taken during a regular workday meeting. I can't stop thinking about how deeply his loss must be felt by his colleagues and everyone who worked with him on those projects over the years. It's a chilling reminder that these acts of violence ripple through so many lives, even beyond the immediate family and friends of the victims. My heart truly goes out to all those touched by his work and his presence in their professional lives. What a devastating loss for so many.

I still can’t wrap my head around why someone would senselessly attack innocent people like that. I read that Richard Newcomer was in the middle of a work meeting, just doing his job, when his life was taken so abruptly. It's haunting to think he was in a place where so many of us spend so much of our time—at work, surrounded by colleagues. My heart goes out to his family, who have to face this painful loss without any real answers. Newcomer seemed like an exceptionally dedicated individual, someone who took pride in his work and the legacy he left in Cincinnati's skyline. It's unsettling that something like this could happen to anyone just going about their daily routine.

I wanted to take a moment to talk about Richard F. Newcomer's significant impact on Cincinnati's skyline and how his tragic passing has been felt by so many in our community. As someone who spent his career with Gilbane Building Co., Richard contributed to some of the iconic structures that make our city unique. It’s heartbreaking to think about the projects left incomplete and the knowledge lost with his passing. He was more than just a superintendent; he was a cornerstone of growth and development in Cincinnati. It's clear he was not only respected in his professional life but cherished by his family. For those of us who live and work in the buildings he helped create, this loss is deeply personal. It's important to honor his memory by continuing conversations about workplace safety and the measures necessary to prevent such tragedies in the future. Keeping Richard and his family in my thoughts during this difficult time.
